Faithful to our roots

On August 4, 1983, the Ameztoy-Alfaro family home became the KIRKILLA ENEA restaurant. For 40 years the restaurant has been carefully managed by the Romero Ameztoy and Iñaki Olazabal couple.

Today, Julen Olazabal continues his family’s legacy by offering his customers an elaborate Basque cuisine based on its roots.

In the kitchen, Xabier Zabala works with love the local products that arrive every day to our kitchen: the fruit and vegetables with which we prepare our dishes are bought every day in the market of Zarautz. More than 10 years of experience allow Xabier to get to know our customers and offer them very personal creations with seasonal products.

The Restaurant

Tradition and modernity

The restaurant has two spaces: one more traditional, where the original dining room is located and the other more modern and modern. In any of the spaces you can enjoy the best Basque cuisine in a family atmosphere with a very personal service.
